Join PPC’s Eco & Justice Kid Club by checking out a book from our Eco & Justice Kid Library!

Books are the ultimate recycled product! Rather than purchasing a book about loving and caring for the environment, why not borrow one of ours?

We are delighted to offer our library of children’s books. This collection includes toddler, children, and chapter books.

We welcome Kid Reviews! Just film their book review–no need for them to say their names. By sending in book reviews you are giving us permission to put them online on youtube and our website to promote the congregation’s Eco & Justice Kid Club and Library.

How it works

You may have up to 2 books checked out for 3 weeks.

To check out a book:

• Click on the book and add it to your cart. Once you’ve made your selection(s), click checkout and follow the instructions.
• If you choose the delivery option, someone from PPC will be in touch soon to coordinate the delivery.
• The pick-up option is only for those who already have access to the building.

To return a book (due 3 weeks):

• Our volunteers will contact you after 3 weeks to arrange a pickup time. 

Share Books, Not Germs!

By using our library, you agree to take whatever risks are inherent in doing so. Dr. Berendes of the CDC in their March 30 presentation says, “The virus, if it’s present, would be present in very low quantities (for paper-based products) and would die off quickly…. If you were really concerned, you could wait for a 24-hour period… .” 

Please join church volunteers in following these precautions: 

1) Please do not borrow or deliver books if anyone in your household is sick.  

2) Let books rest untouched for 24 hours as an additional precaution.

3) We will wipe down the outside covers of each book before delivery. We’ll also clean them after they are returned. 

4) We will deliver and pick-up by leaving items on your doorstep at pre-arranged times to avoid personal contact.
